There are different ways to look at the disappearance of an animal. Our pets have their own journeys and not all of them are supposed to be found.

It could be that jumping out the window is not the deep reason for the disappearance of a cat but it was his conscious choice there.

Animals have a different perception of the value of living in the physical body. They are not as afraid of death as us and see it as an integral part of life. So for them, discomfort or even risk will not be sufficient considerations to prevent change that needs to happen.
